Who is the programme for?

the program is designed for players of different age groups who need to improve selected hockey skills or players who want to train in a team; to achieve this goal, on-ice, on-trainer and off-ice training sessions are used; on-ice and off-ice training sessions are used as a support to on-ice training sessions

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

  • 1x KKS testing admission
  • 1x SA entry (valid for players who are adapted to movement on the trainer)
  • 8x on-ice training sessions
  • 6x training sessions on the trainer
  • 8x off-ice training sessions
  • 1x KKS exit testing
  • 1x SA output

the program is focused primarily on either skating, shooting or stickhandling in combination with other key skills, according to the goal set before the program starts; the program is conducted in groups, which allows to use in training exercises the cooperation of players as a motivating factor and also a factor that brings progress, but also during the group form of training it is possible to individualize the training process if the performance of the players requires it; especially in on-ice training, this form of training allows the inclusion of game exercises in which the players must integrate skills, fitness, game thinking (read and react), motivation and at the same time overcome the opponent’s resistance; during the programme, the procedure of evaluation – plan – implementation – evaluation is applied.

OUTPUT, FINAL EVALUATIONS

Based on the observation of the players during the training sessions and the assessment of the input and output diagnostics, a consultation with the players will be conducted after the end of the program, where the players will be presented with their strengths and areas for development and then presented with the possibility of creating a further training plan.
